Motherhood

I was ecstatic when I found out my good friend Sara just gave birth two days ago to a beauty named Bailey. I was honored to do a maternity session with her a few weeks back. The entire experience was so sweet and beautiful. I can't wait to hold Bailey and give her lots of kisses.

Favorite Food

Favorite Food
My favorite food will always be Chinese, obviously. But if you asked what my favorite dish is, it would have to be anything made with potatoes. Even after I came to America, mashed potatoes and fries were the easiest to get accustomed to. Hum... I think I know what I will have for dinner now.

and here comes the king(s)

The Cincinnati Zoo is one of nation's best. The last time I was there they had a penguin parade. I was in total awe. They are magnificent creatures.

Getting Better

Last night, after playing a concert, I arrived home late thinking I should go to bed early, but somehow found myself sitting in front of the computer with photoshop open. I've been teaching myself how to use photoshop ever since I got into photography a few years back. I admit, I am far from a photoshop expert, but I know the importance of this tool even for a film shooter like me, so I am constantly trying to learn more. Anyways, I finally figured out how to make my own "blog it boards" (similar to MCP Actions' version). It took me awhile to get it right, but it was worth the effort. Now, I can customize it anyway I want. Yeah... it feels good to be in control... (I know, I am a bit of a control freak.)

I went to New Jersey about a week ago with my husband to visit my in-laws. I took the opportunity to visit Adorama in New York City. It was a bit different than I expected. In my mind, I had this Cosco-sized camera store with customers walking around filling their shopping carts. Well, I forgot I was in the east-coast, even worst, NYC. It was much smaller than what I imagined, and most of the important stuff were on shelves behind glass doors. The place was pretty packed, both with products and shoppers. I was not disappointed though. My bag was filled with rolls of film when I left. Now I just need to go shoot, and shoot some more.

My in-laws gave me some gorgeous sets of Japanese dinnerware made some 30 years back. You can't get these anymore. They are my babies now... I feel so lucky...
